White as the snow is right after it falls down the sky looks so spotless it seems almost fake. And cars add a blackness that makes it industrial: the contrast is pleasant and feels so urbane. And she looks at billboards, they stand out in yellow, the red Chinese letters appear so aesthetic she can’t understand what they stand for. People around her move quickly and busy, they raise their umbrellas like flowers of steel. The buildings breathe iron, the ladders are whispers of blue-collar poetry of nightshifts and cabs. And she dreams Italian espressos and pastries, the sweetness of family cooking reminds her of lying in bed when the morning was still new, the smell of her mother and father comes back from the kitchen where they used to scramble an egg, and the rain falls so sharply it passes right through her like a rainbow. And it makes it good to walk among the crowd. It makes her glad to say these thoughts aloud.

When you return to me with all your twenty-too pretty mistakes I lose myself again among the fire and love of our days: the restless nights and mangled fights our bodies painlessly endured, and always then what might have been leaves with your twenty-too pretty smile. But in the mirror I don’t recognize the man you once were with. He looks like me, but I don’t think you were twenty-too pretty for him. So how can I contend with all your twenty-too pretty desires to watch another man refracted happily into your eyes: a Van Gogh's night where spiraled lights consume the glossy darkness, without being rude you hate it too and all your twenty-too pretty tears. Because, in the mirror I don’t recognize the boy who kissed your lips. He looks like me, but I don’t think you were twenty-too pretty for him. And when I walk my feet don’t follow the prints you left behind. Perhaps it’s just that after all you’re twenty-too pretty to me.

Rock'n'roll 03:24
And when she cries, she cries for more, her little space behind closed doors, her body stretched across the bed, her thoughts away where nothing said: Rock’n’roll. She lost her soul. Rock’n’roll. She wonders how things got so far, contentions faster than her car, mistakes she knew, mistakes she made, the difference now appears to fade. Rock’n’roll. She lost her soul. Rock’n’roll. And suddenly she wants to go where no one else has ever gone before, and drive for miles in the midnight hour and find the perfect spot to crash against. Her hands are tight against the wheel, her mind is numb but wants to feel, the radio plays her favorite tune, she soon recalls that night in June. Rock’n’roll. It was like a call. Rock’n’roll. And suddenly she wants to shout and scream so loud the whole world will explode, and drive for miles in the dawning light and laugh so hard her lungs will start to hurt. Rock’n’roll. She builds a wall. Rock’n’roll. Rock’n’roll.

Boleroemme 03:16

When you whisper in my ear your words resound so loud around. Or in my heart... It's rather hard to tell. But all in all it is my skin that feels you. When what I say leads you to smile my words appear so smart and clear. Or maybe rough... it's rather tough to say. But all in all it is my skin that feels you. But when I feel a little blue, and days are long and boring too, I think of you and blame the world that you're away. But all in all it is my skin that misses you. I wonder whether there's something wrong about me. But all in all it is my skin without you
